Please do not try to fake God out. You may be able to trick others by posing and posting how you want others to see you, but God knows your heart. You may be waiting on blessings because of all of the outwardly deeds that you do for praise and recognition. However, in Matthew 6:1, it says “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” This is all about your heart. If you are doing “good deeds” with wrong intentions, you will not be blessed that. However, Matthew 6:3-4 says, “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” I’m not saying that you should not share about ways that you have been a blessing to other, but it’s all about your intentions. Sometimes we share what we do to get others involved in the mission. However, sometimes it’s to subtly (or blatantly) boast.
Check your heart. Check your thoughts. If there are things that are in you that are clogging you up, do a cleanse! You have no room to carry those things where God wants to take you. You can’t hide it. God knows it all. When you want his blessings, you must be transparent and willing to not just play the part, but believe.
